Together with her father, Architect Ana Contreras established the company Ana Rita Contreras Sosa y Asociados to start the development and promotion of residential real estate projects in the Dominican Republic. During that time they started high-density residential projects in the national district, including sectors such as Gazcue and Naco.

After obtaining her MSSAD (Master of Science and Advanced Architectural Design) at Columbia University in New York City, Ana Contreras returns to her work at the architecture studio to continue developing projects in the DR, this time at a national level including tourist destinations like La Romana and Bayahibe.

As a result of the 2010 earthquake, we co-founded Co2 Architecture Haiti to start the development of projects in the neighboring country. A significant period of professional growth begins with this project. Projects such as the Audi dealership, Autoplaza and the Delimart supermarket marked the beginning of many other big projects in this country.

After 5 years of experience in Haiti, we expanded to the northern area (Cap Haitien) to start the development of a masterplan of residential projects of different scales including apartments, single-family houses and duplex houses. At the same time, we continue with the development of projects in the coastal area of Cote des Arcadiens with beach residences. Including sectors such as Montrouis, Carries, Pierre Payen, among others.

Under the new commercial name of “Arco.do Development”, with a more complete and renewed team we continue the development of residential and commercial projects in Port-au-Prince, taking them #frompapertoreality. Projects such as the masterplan for the development of the Appleseed School allowed us to achieve radical changes in the lives of our clients.

After 11 years of experience in Haiti, we once again resumed the development of residential projects in the DR, offering our own brand of residential projects for both sale and rent. Sectors such as Gazcue, Ensanche Ozama and Alma Rosa will be directly impacted by the presence of our projects. We continue with our commitment to improve the quality of life of everyone who join to live the experience of developing projects together with #TeamArcoDev.
